LA Railstats, a web application that generates Metro Rail punctuality reports, was created to help inform Metro officials working to improve LA Metro Rail runtimes. After all, the alternative is LA traffic!

Show me someone who enjoys running software updates, and I’ll show you ten people that hate it — or at least find it an annoying, but necessary thing to do. On Bluebeam’s Download Center page, seemingly minor microcopy was throwing off some visitors’ attempts to update their software. With user research, I was able to turn that ship around. A perfect example of how something really small can have a sizable (and sometimes not so good!) impact.
